     It defines how Black Group integrates environmental stewardship, social justice, ethical governance, and cultural responsibility into every decision.

      • Board of Directors – Approves sustainability policy and reviews progress annually.

      • Group Sustainability & Ethics Office (GSEO) – Central authority for ESG data, policy, and reporting.

4.1 Climate & Energy
      • Measure Scope 1, 2, and material Scope 3 emissions by 2025 baseline.
      • Submit SBTi-aligned targets for approval (near-term ≤ [X+10]*; net-zero ≤ [X+25]*).
      • Transition to 100 % renewable electricity across owned operations by ~2032 (subject to validation).

5.2 Health & Safety
      • Compliance with ISO 45001 occupational standards.

5.3 Zero-Tolerance Safeguarding Policy
      Across all Black Group entities, we maintain zero tolerance for human trafficking, sexual exploitation, harassment, or violence toward
      employees or guests.
      Each property and business unit will:
            • Enforce a Safeguarding and Anti-Trafficking Policy aligned with best practice.
            • Provide mandatory training for all staff.
            • Maintain confidential reporting channels and partnerships with relevant NGOs.


6.0 Ethics & Governance

      • Zero tolerance for bribery, extortion, or facilitation payments (UN Global Compact Principle 10).
      • No political donations or endorsements by any Black Group entity.
      • Annual ethics training for all managers and procurement staff.


7.0 Responsible Supply Chain

      BLK Code of Conscience for Suppliers mandates:
            • Labour Rights: no forced/child labour; living wages where possible; safe workplaces.
            • Environment: waste and water management; no hazardous discharge; chemical controls.
            • Governance: anti-corruption; no unauthorized subcontracting.
            • Traceability: transparency from Tier 1 to Tier 2 by [X+3]*.
      Suppliers are audited and rated for continuous improvement, not punitive replacement.

8.0 Animal Welfare & Ethical Materials

      • No Fur Policy: Fur is permanently prohibited across all brands and products.
      • Exotic Skins: Permitted only from farms and tanneries that are fully traceable and certified for animal-welfare and environmental standards.
      • Animal Products in Food or Fashion: Black Group does not perform animal slaughter in any entity. All animal-derived materials and
        ingredients must originate from suppliers following recognized animal-welfare frameworks and humane slaughter practices.
      • Supplier Codes: These requirements are explicitly written into the BLK Code of Conscience.


9.0 Division-Specific Directives

      • Follow SASB Apparel metrics for materials, chemicals, and labour.
      • Use organic, recycled, and traceable fibres where possible.
      • Repair and restoration programmes to extend product lifecycles.
      • Implement a Model & Talent Charter guaranteeing informed consent, safe conditions, fair pay, and freedom from coercion for all creative
        workers.

      • New builds target LEED Gold or equivalent certification.
      • Operations optimise energy, water, and waste efficiency.
      • Farm-to-table menus source from BLK Agro and local partners.
      • Safeguarding policy (see Section 5.3) implemented in every property.
      • Responsible alcohol service training standardised Group-wide.

      Transport:
            • Progressive fleet electrification across guest, logistics, and staff vehicles.
            • Route optimization and fuel-efficiency monitoring to reduce Scope 1 emissions.
            • Preference for local drivers and maintenance partners trained in safe and ethical conduct.

      Catering:
            • Source ingredients from BLK Agro and other local suppliers meeting the BLK Code of Conscience.
            • Prioritize seasonal menus, sustainable seafood, and certified fair-trade produce.
            • Implement comprehensive food-waste minimization—portion control, composting, and donation of safe leftovers to community partners.
            • Maintain the highest food-safety standards (HACCP / ISO 22000) with regular independent audits.

      Retail:
            • Applies to The Dubleu stores and all retail spaces within hotels, restaurants, and clubs.
            • All merchandise—whether apparel, accessories, or souvenir products—must meet ethical-sourcing, material, and quality standards equal
              to those of the Fashion Division.
            • Packaging: biodegradable, recyclable, or reusable; no single-use plastics by [X+3]*.
            • Store design & operations: energy-efficient lighting, low-VOC materials, water-saving fixtures, and waste-sorting in every location.
            • Supplier compliance: all retail vendors and licensees must sign the BLK Code of Conscience and provide traceability for origin and
              materials.
            • Product philosophy: every item sold must reflect craft, culture, and durability—“souvenirs that last, not waste that travels.”

            • Productions must follow responsible content and representation guidelines, fully aligned with the People & Culture Charter.

      • Protect customer and employee data through robust cyber-security protocols.

      • The Mahākālī Foundation allocates a fixed percentage of its dividends to philanthropy and reinvests the rest into Black Group.

14.0 Implementation & Continuous Improvement

      • Phase 1 (Years 1–3) – Baselines, policy finalization, and pilot projects.
      • Phase 2 (Years 4–7) – SBTi submission, supply-chain traceability, circular programs.
      • Phase 3 (Years 8–10) – Full external assurance and sector leadership in sustainability.
